Marlene C. Shomper

YORK—Marlene C. (Deibert) Shomper, 90, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at SpiriTrust Lutheran—The Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Shomper to whom she was married for 66 years. A Private Graveside Service will be held in Mount Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 25, 1931 in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ella (Dietz) Deibert. She was employed at the New Cumberland Army Depot for 35 years until her retirement. An avid golfer, Marlene was a 52-year member of the Outdoor Country Club of York.
