Marlene B. Christiansen

YORK- Marlene B. (Kabonick) Christiansen, 82, of West Manchester Township, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Hubert J. Christiansen. A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Mrs. Christiansen was born in Shamokin, PA on September 3, 1935, the daughter of the late Fred F. and Bertha M. (Wetzel) Kabonick. Mrs. Christiansen was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards, game shows, and spending time with her cat, Jasmine. Mrs. Christiansen leaves three daughters, Teresa M. Christiansen, of Dover, Eleanor D, Eckert and her husband Rick, and Mellisa A. Leister and her husband James of Dover; seven grandchildren, Michael, Stacey, Gregory, Travis, Andrew, Jennifer, and Keith; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Betty A. Meiser, a daughter-in-law, Diane E. Christiansen, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven J. Christiansen and a great granddaughter, McKenzie Christiansen.
