Mark Edward Ferguson

DOVER- Mark Edward Ferguson, 85, of Dover Township passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his residence. He was the husband of Carolyn D. (Callihan) Ferguson. The couple celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on June 13, 2022. Mr. Ferguson was born in Johnstown on February 3, 1937, the son of John and Pauline (Kaszycki) Ferguson. He started his career as a welder at Borg Warner and later became a Navy inspector retiring from Borg Warner. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Shiloh American Legion post #791. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers. He served in the US Army in the Korean war. Mr. Ferguson leaves a son, Michael S. Ferguson and his wife Jo Ellen of York; a daughter, Christi Jo Ferguson of Dover; two grandchildren, Jordon and Aaron Ferguson; two great grandchildren, Elias and Eloise; a brother, Robert Ferguson and his wife Norma and a sister, Charlyn Mock. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Ziesman and two brothers, Howard “Bo” Ferguson and Gareth Ferguson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PA Wounded Warrior Project, 1117 Country Club Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
