Mark E. Forwood

DALLASTOWN - Mark E. Forwood, 44, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of Anne M. (Loughran) Enfield of Dallastown and the late Raymond E. Forwood. A visitation will be held from 7-9:00 PM Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion followed by a graveside tribute service at 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2010 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 1:45 PM Friday. Born August 5, 1965 in York, Mark was 1983 graduate of Kennard Dale High School. He had worked at Smith Village Home Furnishings and also Rutter's Convenience Store in Jacobus. Mr. Forwood was a die hard New York Yankees fan and had volunteered as an assistant manager for Little League baseball in Fawn Grove. Mark was truly dedicated to his family and loved spending time with them and to help care for his father and sister. He was a US Marine Corps veteran. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by a sister, Kelly Anne Forwood of Dallastown; two nephews, Joshua T. and Nicholas K. Forwood; three uncles, Vincent, Carl, and Michael Loughran; and an aunt, Kathleen Bowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses Assoc., 218 E.
