Mark Dorsey Osborn

FELTON- Mark Dorsey Osborn, 61, of Chanceford Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 18, 2019. He was the husband of Kara Ann (Beal) Osborn. The couple celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on October 6, 2019. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 3-4 p.m. Certified Celebrant Victoria Krouse will be officiating at the service. Mark was born in Baltimore on April 24, 1958, the son of Ronald T. Osborn of Charlotte, NC and Regina T. (Reilly) Osborn of Ocean City, MD. He was currently working for Eastern Lift Truck Company, Inc. in York. He served in the US Airforce where he honed his skills as a mechanic. Mark would go on to become an ASE certified automobile technician, and eventually the manager of an automotive air conditioning shop in Baltimore. In time he transitioned to repairing lift trucks with certifications to repair machines from Yale and Toyota. His hobbies involved listening to blues music, public radio such as WXPN and WTMD, grilling, and fishing. Mark leaves two sons, Ryan K. Osborn of Felton and Jack R. Osborn and his wife DaJon of Aberdeen, MD; a daughter, Ashley E. Dodson and her husband Allan of Bel Air, MD; three grandchildren, Charlotte, Ella, and Reilly; a sister, Marcia J. Osborn of Baltimore, a nephew Harry Shock, and his dog Terry. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Osborn.
