Mark Alan Forry

YOE- Mark Alan Forry, 53, died on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving companion of Nancy Nace. A celebration of life tribute service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Tyler Miller officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on November 8, 1962 in York, he was a son of the late Clair K. and Virginia M. (Maul) Forry. Mark was employed for the last 33 years at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. During the last 16 years he was Lead Technician, with the responsibility to manage the Company’s fleet equipment. He was an expert diesel and automotive mechanic. He attended Ohio Diesel Technical College in Cleveland, OH to learn his trade. Mark’s passion was his two sons, Tyler and Travis, whom he lovingly raised into young men who made him proud. He was also a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a car enthusiast. He loved his 1970 Dodge Challenger RT Special Edition, which he completely rebuilt some 25 years ago. He ran a working garage at his home. Neighbors and friends were often found there visiting and having their cars serviced. Surviving are two sons, Tyler Forry and his fiancé, Karisa of Windsor and Travis Forry of Yoe; one granddaughter, Miah Forry; one step granddaughter, Bailey Shoff; one brother, David Forry and his wife, Joanne of Greenville, S.C.; and two nieces, Katelyn and Jessica Forry. We who are left behind miss him greatly. We are comforted in the knowledge that he is with his Lord and Savior.
