Mark A. Yarnell

YORK - Mark A. Yarnell, 47, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010. He was the companion of Tonia L. Emerson. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Faith United Church of Christ, 509 Pacific Avenue, York. A visitation will be held from 12-1:00 PM Saturday at the Church. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born May 17, 1962 in York a son of Sharon A. (Sigel) and husband Gerald Dunlap of York and John W. and wife Sharon Yarnell of York, he worked at Graham Architectural Products. He was a member of Christ Chapel International Ministries and enjoyed NASCAR, yard sales, and going to the beach. Mark loved helping children and animals, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his companion and parents, Mark is survived by an infant son, Josiah M. Yarnell of York; a stepdaughter, Kayla L. Emerson of York; his grandmother, Margaret Sigel of York; two sisters, Kelly L. Taughinbaugh of Red Lion and Shannon S. Kertzel of York; six nieces and nephews; and two great nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions to aid the family may be sent to Mrs. Sharon A. Dunlap, 204 Brooklyn Dr., York, PA 17406.
