RED LION- Mark A. Lloyd, 49, died suddenly on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his sister's residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jennifer (Eveler) Lloyd. The couple celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on September 30, 2011. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles Street in Red Lion, with a visitation from 3:30-5:00 p.m. His pastor, The Reverend Dr. William H. Cluley will be officiating at the service. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mark was born in York on March 19, 1962, son of Marlin L. and Urith A. (Elfner) Lloyd of Windsor. He worked as a Sales Engineer for Johnson Controls in Mechanicsburg and previously for Trane and Basco Associates. Mark was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion. He was a 1980 graduate of Red Lion High School and a graduate of Penn State University. He was an active participant in the Red Lion Lacrosse Club and helped establish the program at Red Lion High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mark leaves a son, Alexander M. Lloyd of Red Lion; a daughter, Morgan E. Lloyd of Red Lion; a brother, Tim and Kris Lloyd of York; a sister, Tammy and Chuck Kelley of Red Lion. He was also loved by George and Betty Eveler, Andrea and Mark Stanley, George and Kristine Eveler, Dawn and Jay Persing; and nieces and nephews, Tyler, Matthew, Megan, Zachary, Caitlin, Grant, and Ben. Memorial contributions may be made to Red Lion Field Hockey Booster Club or Red Lion Lacrosse Booster Club, 200 Horrace Mann Ave., Red Lion, PA 17356.
