DOVER – Marjorie R. (Colvin) Ferguson, 73, was carried Home by the angels to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital. She was the wife of the late Howard B. Ferguson. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church, 85 York Street, Wellsville with her pastor, The Rev. Matthew J. Loyer officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30-11:30 AM Saturday at the Church. Private burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born February 6, 1940 in Schellsburg, Bedford Co., a daughter of the late Willard E. and Ruth I. (Lambert) Colvin, she was a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School in Bedford Co. and attended Cambria Business School in Johnstown. Mrs. Ferguson had worked as a banquet waitress at The Holiday Inn and in the deli at Spangler’s Food Market. Marjorie enjoyed cooking, eating out and spending time with her family. She adored holiday and pool-side gatherings with them. Easter and Christmas were her two favorite holidays. Her family will cherish their memories until joining her in Heaven. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by a daughter, Tracey F. and husband Brian Inners of Wrightsville; three sons, Craig C. Ferguson of Dover, Todd B. and wife Debra Ferguson of Wellsville, and Scott K. and wife Barb Ferguson of Dover; six grandchildren, Nikki, Mandy, Katie, Calvin, Jenna, and Carly; five great grandchildren, Tanner, Cameron, Brody, Bella, and Collin; and a sister, Carol (Colvin) MacGregor and husband Donald of Schellsburg.
