Marjorie M. (Jackson) Wagner

TROY-Marjorie M. (Jackson) Wagner, 78, of Sylvania, PA, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Bradford County Manor. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Wagner who passed away on November 27, 2000. The couple married on September 22, 1947 and had 53 happy years together. Marjorie was born on September 2, 1931 in Blossburg, PA, daughter of the late Delbert and Ida Hazel (Brown) Jackson. Marjorie was a dye cutter for Paper Magic in Troy, PA until her retirement. She was a member of the Sylvania Church of Christ and the Paper Magic Retirees Club. She spent her time at the Bradford County Manor volunteering by selling plants. After she retired, Marjorie was active helping, by baking and cooking, and enjoying her family, who loved her very much. Marjorie is survived by her son Danny Wagner of Sylvania, PA, her daughters: Debbie Harer and husband William Middleton of Sylvania, PA, and Donna (Paul) Pasko of Austinville. Her grandchildren: Robert Smith, Stephanie Harer, Stacee Bellows, Amy Wagner, Michael Pasko, and Shawn Wagner, her great grandchildren: Zachary Smith, Allee Dutrow, Gabriel Bellows, Roland Smith, Sydnee Bellows, and Griffin Schanbacher, her sister Doris Stage, her "special daughter" Paula Strong, numerous nieces and nephews, and the care givers with Guthrie Hospice and the Bradford County Manor who provided excellent care for Marjorie. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her sister Betty Ames, and her brother Charles "Bill" Jackson. The memorial service to honor Marjorie's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Sylvania Church of Christ, in the borough of Sylvania. Burial will be held at the convenience of Marjorie's family. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA.
