Marjorie L. Hughes

ETTERS – Marjorie L. Hughes, 95, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services in Camp Hill. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held 10AM, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry with her pastor, The Reverend Janie Harrison officiating. A viewing will be held from 9–10AM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John’s Lewisberry Cemetery. Born November 19, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Bruce and Mary (Bonner) Hughes. She had worked as a seamstress and cleaned for families in the community. A member of Lewisberry United Methodist Church, Marjorie was devoted to her faith and loved reading Christian novels. In her spare time, Ms. Hughes liked to sew. Ms. Hughes is survived by her loving caretakers, her nephew/son, Rick Hughes and wife Tammy of Etters; two brothers, Sidney Hughes and wife Lois, and Bruce Hughes and wife Kay, both of Lewisberry; four sisters, Dorothy Gerber of Dillsburg, Evelyn Wueschinski of Carlisle, Janice Shank of Wellsville, and Gloria Miller of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Shultz and a sister lost in infancy.
