Marjorie A. Coughlin

YORK – Marjorie A. “Marge” Coughlin, 83, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her home. She had been in poor health since last winter. Born April 5, 1933 in York, a daughter of the late LeRoy J. and Lillian G. (Lehr) Flinchbaugh, she was a 1951 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Marge was employed by IBM where she worked in data processing and as a secretary. She left IBM in 1960 to become a stay at home mom. Later, she was employed as a legal secretary, administrative assistant, real estate agent, sales associate, and an encoder at the US Postal Rec. Site until it closed in 2000. Marge is survived by three sons, Bernard F. Figlock, III of Houston, TX, Matthew T. Figlock of York Haven, and Joseph M. Figlock of Eugene, OR. There will be no viewing or memorial service, in accordance with Marge’s wishes. Burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that any expression of sympathy be made to Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Dr., New Freedom, PA 17349 or a local SPCA.
