Marion W. (Gee) Walters

DALLASTOWN - Marion W. (Gee) Walters, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Walters. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Keystone Baptist Church, 10 Dairyland Square Shopping Center, Red Lion with Pastor Jeremiah Brown officiating. Private burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born December 31, 1924 in Wellsboro, PA a daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Lundgren) Gee, she attended Troy High School in Troy, PA. Mrs. Walters retired in 1985 from the reproduction department at McCrory's Distribution, after 22 years of service. She was a member of Keystone Baptist Church and enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. Marion had previously been active with the Jolly Seniors group in York City. Mrs. Walters is survived by two daughters, Norine M. Shaw of Windsor and Gale and husband George Stahl of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Christine Taylor and husband Tom, Bob Shaw, Chad Shaw and wife Mindy, and Alfred Louden and wife Angel; five great grandchildren; and a longtime companion, Edward Lynn Skinkle of Lowman, NY.
