RED LION- Marilyn K. (Kilburn) Peters, 83 of Windsor Township, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. She was the wife of Charles E. Peters. The couple celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 20, 2020. Mrs. Peters Graveside Tribute Service will be broadcast on the Olewiler Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Facebook page at www.facebook.com/olewilertributes/live at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2020. The Reverend John Kurtz will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Red Lion Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Peters was a self employed hair dresser, before retiring after 40 years of service. Prior to that she worked for Standard Register. She received her training from Empire Beauty School in York Mrs. Peters was a member of Red Lion Zion United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going to activities with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her husband Charles, she leaves a daughter, Pamala K. McCauley and her husband Jim of West York; five grandchildren, Jessica Butler and her husband Christopher, Savannah McCauley, Cassidy McCauley, Darian McCauley, and Brynn McCauley ; two great grandchildren, Blake and Graci Butler; a brother, Thomas Kilburn, and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Lion Zion United Methodist Church, 1155 Felton Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356.
