Marie Loeffler

ENOLA-Marie Loeffler, 88, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday in Enola after a lengthy illness. Born in Wilkes-Barre on August 14, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Hayden) Loeffler. She was a member of Albright United Methodist Church. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Summit Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Drevenak and brother, Harry Loeffler. Surviving is her sister, Nancy Sharpe, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews, including Tina Sharpe and caregivers, Debra Sharpe, John and Danielle Pearson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Patrice H. Goodwin will officiate. Interment will follow in Hanover Green Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
