Marie J. (Williams) Miller

SEVEN VALLEYS- Marie J. (Williams) Miller, 83, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Phillip E. Miller, who died on December 26, 2005. The couple had been married for 55 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor, the Reverend Lisa A. Hair officiating. Viewings will be from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on December 6, 1931 in Emigsville, she was a daughter of the late Raymond M. and Sarah M. (Spahr) Williams. Marie was a presser for Seven Valleys Garment Factory until her retirement. Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Jacob’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and loved her church family. Marie enjoyed her time at the Windy Hill Senior Center, playing cards and camping with her grandchildren. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, Steven Miller and his wife, Darlene of Spring Grove and Jeffery Miller and his wife, Bonnie of Seven Valleys; one daughter, Sandra Oberdick and her husband, Keith of Manchester; nine grandchildren, Jasen, Chad, Eric, Matthew, Brian, David, Lana, Nathan and Charles; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Guy Williams; and one sister, Carrie Snyder. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99 E.
