Marianne Kopp

YORK – Marianne (Comerford) Kopp, 73, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of Richard G. Kopp to whom she was married for 52 years on June 14th. A Celebration of Life Tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Marianne was born on October 30, 1947 in Richmond Hill, NY; a daughter of the late James J. Comerford and the late Marie C. (Langer) Cybulski. Marianne was a legal secretary for 25 years at the former law practice of Judge Harry M. Ness. Marianne was an avid reader and enjoyed being in her card club for over 40 years. She also enjoyed spending time boating and at her house at Raystown Lake. She was a devoted mother and thrilled to have seven grandchildren, whom she doted on. In addition to her husband, Marianne is survived by three sons, Brian A. and wife Kristin Kopp of Lancaster, Michael R. and wife Julie Kopp of Glen Rock and Jason C. and wife Miranda Kopp of Dallastown; seven grandchildren, Anderson, Davis, Taylor, Sienna, Ronan, Tyler and Tommy; a sister, Patricia and husband Ralph Perrone of Glen Rock; and many nieces and nephews.
