Marian Lynnette Kinsey-Schick

MANHEIM- Marian Lynnette Kinsey-Schick, 85, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Lee Wayne Schick. The couple celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Stewartstown (York County) Cemetery. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Marian’s obituary at HeffnerCare.com. Chaplain Jim May will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Marian was born in York on May 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Russell Franklin and Rosanna (Ebaugh) Kinsey. She retired as an independent contractor doing medical transcriptions for Atlantic City Medical Center. Prior to that she worked as a medical transcriptionist for Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster Urology Association, Lancaster Neurosurgical Association, and she volunteered in the transport and business offices for Manheim Township Ambulance Association.

Marian was a 1959 graduate of Rider College in Trenton, NJ. She was a member of American Business Women’s Association. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America, where she was a den mother and Webelo leader. Her hobbies included needlepoint, knitting, and crocheting.

Along with her husband Lee, she leaves a son Michael David Kinsey of Lancaster and a granddaughter, Haley Rose Kinsey of Lancaster.
