Marian B. (Strong) Benton

YORK- Marian B. (Strong) Benton, 92, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Providence Place Senior Living in Dover. She was the wife of the late I. Paul Benton, to whom she was married for 62 years. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Marian was born May 21, 1922 in Jamestown New York. She was an avid world traveler who enjoyed boating and traveling in RV’s. She was a gifted seamstress who sewed all her own clothing. Mrs. Benton is survived by two sons, Dean Benton and his wife Judy of York, and Paul Alan Benton and his wife Susan of Cedar Lake, Indiana; five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
