Marian Alice (Bender) Davis

Marian Alice (Bender) Davis, 96, of Milton, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Kramm Health Care in Milton. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas J. Davis who passed away on August 29, 1983. The couple married on July 1, 1950 and had 33 happy years together. Marian was born on August 31, 1913 in Milton, daughter of the late John R. and Mary (Wilson) Bender. She was the office manager for the Trust Department for Provident Trust Company in Philadelphia, PA, and later was the supervisor for the Pinellas County Board of Elections in Florida. Marian was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Milton, and belonged to the Rainbow Class at the church. A niece, Catherine Kast of Lynbrook, New York, survives Marian. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas, and her brother Raymond W. Bender. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 7:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc. 125 North Front Street, Milton, PA. The memorial service to honor Marian's life will be held at 8:00 PM on October 7th at the funeral home with her pastor, Rev. Stephen Shirk officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
