Mariam D. Turner

TROY, PA - Mariam D. (Schucker) Turner, Age 90, of East Main Street, Troy, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Troy Community Hospital. Mariam was born March 26, 1920 in Columbia Township, PA daughter of the late Mark A. & Mary C. (Neubauer) Schucker. She was a graduate of Troy Senior High School and Elmira Business Institute. She was retired from Moore Business Form in Elmira, NY where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Her interests included antiquing and gardening, she especially loved flowers. Survivors include her sister, Shirley Brian of Troy, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles & Alice Schucker, Robert & Ina Schucker and James Schucker all of Troy, a cousin Donna Hess, two lifelong friends, Anna Dennington and Ruth Turner both of Elmira, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mariam was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Mark A. Schucker, Jr. two sisters-in-law, Donna Schucker, Annette S. Pearsall and a brother-in-law, Ronald H. Brian. Her funeral service will be at the convenience of the family and interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements are under the direction of the Gerald W.
