Maria T. (Folk) Knudson

YORK- Maria T. (Folk) Knudson, 86, died on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pleasant Acres. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Knudson, Jr. to whom she was married for 35 years. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Born on May 19, 1931 in Greensburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Margaret R. (Ruffner) Folk. Maria was a book keeper at Slaymaker-Lock. Mrs. Knudson was a devoted Catholic and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading books. She was very proud of her grandchildren. Mrs. Knudson is survived by her son, Mike Knudson and wife, Carol of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Alexander Knudson and April Knudson; and brother, Harry J. Folk and wife, Leann of Carnegie.
