RED LION - Marguerite I. (Keeney) Marks, 92, died on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services, Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Paul F. Marks, who died on September 20, 2001. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Dunkard Brethren Church, 216 N. Main St., Shrewsbury, with Brother Robert Lehigh, Brother Kenneth Wilkerson, and Brother Merle Sweitzer officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion and from 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Born on September 26, 1920 in N. Hopewell Twp., she was a daughter of the late Norman E. and Elsie E. (Godfrey) Keeney. Marguerite and her late husband were longtime vendors at New Eastern Market and also operated a small U-pick strawberry, raspberry and vegetable farm. Mrs. Marks was a member of Dunkard Brethren Church at Shrewsbury. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Marks is survived by one son, Marlin Marks and his wife, Darlene of Red Lion; one daughter, Delores Stuber and her husband, Ray of Winterstown; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Norman Keeney, Jr. and his wife, Norma Jean of Red Lion; and one sister, Dorothy Marks of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shrewsbury Dunkard Brethren School, c/o Chad Sweitzer, 2718 Ridgeview, Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313.
