Marguerite Doyne

POTTSVILLE- Marguerite "Nancy" Doyne, 75, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on February 28, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Herman J. and Helen Neiheiser Scheibelhut. Nancy was a 1953 graduate of Pottsville high school. She worked as a housekeeper for many years at Saint John the Baptist Church, Pottsville until she retired. Nancy was a member of Saint John the Baptist Church, Pottsville, and its Outreach program. She was also a member of the Catholic Women's Union. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Doyne, who passed away in November, 1980; her sister, Doris Blum; her brother, William Scheibelhut. Nancy was a very wonderful and caring mother and will be sadly missed by her family. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jane Sunday, wife of Randy, and sons, Robert M, Doyne Sr., husband of Janet, both of Minersville, and Donald J. Doyne, husband of Joanne, of Pottsville; her four grandchildren, Randall J. and Amanda Sunday and Robert M. Doyne, Jr. and Jessica Doyne; her three great grandchildren, Abigail Kutz, Lukas and Camryn Doyne; her two brothers, Herman F. Scheibelhut, husband of Annerose, of Schuylkill Haven and James J. Scheibelhut, husband of Shirley, of Pottsville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:30 A.M. at Saint John the Baptist Church, 10th and Mahantongo Streets, Pottsville. Reverend David J. Loeper will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until time of Mass at the church. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Saint John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 913 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
