Marguerite A. (Desrosiers) Mercier

YORK TOWNSHIP- Marguerite A. (Desrosiers) Mercier, 79, of Red Lion, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital in York. She was the wife of the late Leo J. Mercier. John Mercier will be making local service arrangements for burial of her ashes in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, PA is helping the family with arrangements. Mrs. Mercier was born in Lawrence Mass. on July 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Elzier and Rosanne (Ploured) Desrosier. She was previously a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Methuen, Mass. She enjoyed raising her family, cooking, cleaning and watching Disney Films. Mrs. Mercier leaves two sons: John Mercier of Easton, MD and Roland Mercier of Haverhill, Mass, three daughters: Theresa Mercier and Alissa Minichino, both of Red Lion, and Christine McGuire of Middlebury, CT, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, a brother, Raymond Desrosiers, and three sisters: Sr. Mary Consolata of Jesus, Sr. Mary Rosanne, and Blanche Thibault. She was preceded in death by two sons: Leo J. and Richard J. Mercier. arrangements
