Margie E. Crumling

WRIGHTSVILLE- Margie E. (Almoney) Crumling, 84 passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Rest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York. She was the wife of Kenneth E. Crumling with whom she was married to for the last 37 years. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 20, 1924 in York, a daughter to the late Wilbur R. and Mamie M. (Erhart) Almoney. Mrs. Crumling retired from ITT Grinnell in Columbia. Mrs. Crumling was a member at Mt. Pisgah Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her husband Mrs. Crumling is also survived by a son, George Rittenhouse, Jr. of York; two grandsons, Danny Rittenhouse of Arizona and Jamie Rittenhouse and his wife, Julie and two great granddaughters of Wrightsville; three brothers William Almoney, Sr. and his wife, Polly of York, Jack Almoney, Sr. and his wife, Irene of Red Lion, and Harry Almoney and his wife, Anna Mae of York; and a sister Rose Smith of York. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Robert, and Joseph Almoney; and two sisters, Mary Smith and Flo Kreeger.
