ETTERS – Margaret R. (Rhone) Ford, 75, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital, Camp Hill. She was the wife of Christian Ford to whom she was married 49 years ago in Basil, Switzerland on March 16, 1965. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2014 at Red Land Baptist Church, 661 Big Spring Rd., New Cumberland, with her pastor, The Rev. Richard H. Krieg officiating. Full military rites will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard prior to the tribute service. Private burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born May 20, 1938 in Bloomsburg, PA a daughter of the late Harold and Sarah (Shuey) Rhone, she served in the US Women’s Army Corps for seven years. Later, she had worked for Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Co. in Texas. She was a member at Red Land Baptist Church and adored spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ford is survived by a daughter, Susan J. Collins of Etters; a son, Matthew C. and wife Cynthia Ford of Red Lion; six grandchildren, Tyler Zahniser, Matt Groff, Cody and Cortney Collins, Chase and Kendall Ford; three brothers, George Rhone of Virginia, Phil Rhone of Etters, Greg Rhone of Hershey; and three sisters, Mary Jacobs of Arizona, Ida Rhone of Camp Hill, and Debbie Rhone of Etters. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Gene, and Raymond Rhone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HHT Foundation International, Inc., P.O.
