POTTSVILLE - Margaret R. "Peggy" (Fox) Marquette, 74, of Pottsville died Tuesday evening at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Pottsville, on December 15, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence F. and Anna L. (Gately) Fox. She was a 1952 graduate of the Pottsville High School. Peggy was a member of the Saint Patrick's Church. Until retiring, Peggy was employed by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, the Sharp Mountain Ski Lodge and the Dougherty Accounting Firm. Surviving Peggy are: her husband of 34 years, Charles A., Pottsville; a son, Charles "Chuck" and his wife Lisa, Voorhees, NJ; a stepson, Jacy Marquette, of Bloomsburg; a step daughter, Dr. Cathy Marquette-Pichon, Rome, Italy; three brothers, Lawrence Fox, Palo Alto, James Fox, Philadelphia, and Joseph Fox, Denver; two sisters, Nancy Berger, Pottsville and Mary and her husband Clem Wapinsky, Myerstown; nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM from the Church of Saint Patrick, Pottsville. Family and friends may call from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville on Friday from 9 AM until time of mass. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart & American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
