Margaret R. (Hunt) Wagman

York Margaret R. (Hunt) Wagman, 85, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2007, at The Haven at Springwood, where she resided for the past year. She was the wife of the late Norbert J. Wagman. Mrs. Wagman was born February 13, 1921, in York. She was the daughter of the late George Augustin and Mary Elizabeth (Frantz) Hunt. She is survived by her three children, Donald N. Wagman and his wife, Laura of Herndon, VA., Dr. Edward M. Wagman of Camp Hill, and Mary Elizabeth Delp and her husband, Dan of Huntingdon. She also leaves four grandchildren, Nathan Delp and his wife, Laurel, Michelle Delp, and Nicole and Michael Wagman; and a great-grandson, Ryan Delp. Preceding her in death were her sisters, Catherine and Elizabeth; and her brothers, Ambrose, Richard, and Cletus. A 1938 graduate of York Catholic High School, and later the American Institute of Banking, she worked at the First National Bank in York, Ramclif Supply, and Reynolds & Whitcomb. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Father Robert McCreary officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
