Margaret M. (Wayland) Summerson

YORK- Margaret M. (Wayland) Summerson, 91, of West Manchester Township, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late James C. Summerson. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. The Reverend Sal Buonocore will be officiating at the service. A viewing will be held from 9-10a.m. on Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Mrs. Summerson was born in Falls Creek, PA on February 12, 1921, daughter of the late Frank W. and LaRue H. (Snyder) Wayland. She retired in 1982 from Sylvania in York, where she was an inspector. Mrs. Summerson was a member of Dover Bethany United Methodist Church, AARP of Dover, and West Manchester Mall Walkers. Mrs. Summerson leaves two daughters, Debbie E. March of York and Sharon S. Henry of Michigan; eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
