Margaret M. Myert" (Fake) Boyd

Red Lion—Margaret M. "Myert" (Fake) Boyd, 75, died Sunday, March 02, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Daniel W. "Pete" Boyd, to whom she was married for 51 years. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Immediately following the viewing a funeral cortege will form at the funeral chapel and process to New Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery, where a graveside tribute service will be held. Mrs. Boyd was born May 16, 1932 in Lower Windsor Township, she was a daughter of the late Mason E. and Florence A. (Della) Fake. She was employed as a Seamstress with Danskin in York for over 30 years and until her retirement in 1984, she assisted her husband with his business at Boyd's Auto Salvage. Mrs. Boyd is survived by two brothers, Elwood M. Fake and Chester C. Fake, four sisters, Delores E. Landis, Romaine J. Frey, Patricia A. Spagnola and Helen A. Harris and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald R. Boyd.
