Margaret M. (Dlouhy) Chanoux

TROY- Margaret M. (Dlouhy) Chanoux, 89, of Troy, PA, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Bradford County Manor. She was the loving wife of Theodore Chanoux. The couple married on July 10, 1943 and had 64 wonderful years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 3:30-4:30 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. A memorial service to honor Margaret's life will be held at 4:30 PM on Thursday, February 28th at the funeral home with Margaret's pastor, Rev. Richard Noggle, officiating. Margaret was born on February 7, 1919 in Cleveland, OH and was the daughter of Joseph and Sylvia (Bily) Dlouhy. Margaret had outstanding accounting skills, she did the book keeping for her husband's business and for other companies. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, and was a past Girl Scout leader. Above all else Margaret was an accomplished artist, and painting was her passion. Margaret is survived by her husband Theodore, her son David (Anita) Chanoux of Lexington, MA, her daughter Claudia Richards of Troy, PA, her grandchildren: Kate, Val, Becky, Tim, Kelly, Glen, and Laura, her great grandson Ryan, and several nieces and nephews.
