Margaret M. (Davis) Mayeski

PLAINS TOWNSHIP-Margaret M. (Davis) Mayeski, 89, a former resident of Lee Park Towers, passed away Thursday morning at Golden Living Center-East Mountain, Plains Township. Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jeanette (Walker) Davis. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Mayeski, who passed away February 24, 1986; a brother, Robert Davis and sisters Grace Davis and Pearl Eckrote. Surviving are her sons John Mayeski and his wife, Renea, Nanticoke; Darryl Mayeski and his wife Karen, Wilkes-Barre; daughter Brenda Mayeski, Kingston; grandchildren, Cheryl DiLodovico, Robin Smith and Dane Carney; great-grandchildren Madisyn, Trent and Dane DiLodovico; sister, Mrs. Ruth Hall, Hanover Township. The funeral service will be held Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with Pastor Sandy Piccione officiating. Friends may call Saturday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
