DANVILLE - Margaret Clauser, 80, of Pottsville, died Tuesday night at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in St. Clair on May 31, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara Yevchak Lutza. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1947. On July 31, 1948, she married the late William W. Clauser, Jr., who died November 30, 1999. She was a member of the former First United Church of Christ, Pottsville, which was a large part of her life. Margaret was a wonderful wife and mother, raising her four boys: Kevin and his wife, Sandra, Pottsville, David, of Pottsville, Craig and his wife Donna of Newfield, NJ, and William III and his wife Marie of River Falls, WI; also surviving are: two sisters, Irene Fatula, of Woodlynne, NJ and Ethel Shappell, of Pottsville; three grandchildren, Rachael Kubick, Laura Clauser and Joshua Clauser; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, William, of 51 years, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, John and Joseph Lutza; and two sisters, Mary Paulin and Helen Buccola. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Rev. Michael Kaminsky will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
