Williamsport - Margaret Louise (Mitstifer) Wenzel, 88. She was born March 19, 1919 in Cogan House, Pennsylvania and died August 31, 2007 at Manor Care South, Williamsport, Pa. She was the daughter of Minnie and John Mitstifer and had three siblings all de-ceased, Bertha Mosley, Irvin Mitstifer and Walter Mitstifer. She married Gordon R. Wenzel October 24, 1939 and they would have observed their 68th wedding anniversary this year. She had two children, Ray-mond G. Wenzel (Michelle) and Lorraine F. Snyder (Charles) both of Williamsport, two grandsons, Gordon R. Wenzel (Cheryl) of Lewisburg, Pa. and the late Christopher J. Wenzel (Dorothy) of Muncy and one great granddaughter, Sierra Alexandria Wenzel. Margaret loved people. She was a homemaker who loved to cook for the family and also loved gardening and Bible study. She always wanted to share the wonderful things she learned from God's Word. She loved vacationing with the family at the beach. She will be missed very much by her family and all who knew her. Take with you, all our love. You already have God's above. He'll keep your memory ever near, as will we all, you are so dear. We each love you in our own way. We'll miss you every sin-gle day. You've been such a faithful, loving wife, and showed that love thro' all your life. An exemplary mother, you were too, Giving guidance in all you'd do. Those children married and became a part, of your family, of your heart. And in their hearts you came to be, a beloved "other mother" eternally. Grandsons and great grand-daughter, as they grew, came to also deeply love you. All those lives you came to touch, in knowing you, were blessed so much. So, rest dear one until the day, when you hear our Savior say, "Rise and receive your prize!" Then the tears that now cloud our eyes, Will be tears of joy in paradise. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 773 Cemetery Road, Williamsport. Arrangements are being handled by Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St. Send condolences to BestLifeTributes.com
