Margaret H. Yahn

MILL HALL - Margaret H. (Sweeley) Yahn, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born February 10, 1940 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Henry and Mamie (Keister) Sweeley. Margaret was married to James “Jim” Yahn who preceded her in death on September 9, 2010. She worked for International Paper for 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, tending her flower gardens and having coffee with friends at Dunkin Donuts. She enjoyed time spent with her book club ladies. She was a member of Living Faith Free Methodist Church, Mill Hall. Surviving are two sons, David (Shelley) Young of Gillett, PA and Boyd (Teresa) Lucas of McElhattan and two daughters, Debra Walter of Castanea and Pam Young of Lewisburg. Eight grandchildren Marci (Jonathon) Wagner of Avis, Brandi McGill of Mill Hall, Michelle (Brad) Beaver of Selinsgrove, David (Noelle Schuler) Young, Jr. of Rauchtown , Danielle (Ian) Taft of Erie, Justin (Cynthia) Lucas of Jacksonville, NC, Jessica Lunsford of Mill Hall and Scottie Holter of Lock Haven also eleven great grandchildren Jon, Piper, Ella, Mila, Peyton, Marley, Layla, Kaelyn, Kole, Nova and Victor. She is also survived by a brother Kenneth Sweeley of Eustis, FL and five sisters, Pearl (Clair) Seyler of Mill Hall, Emily Eoute, Marion King all of Mill Hall, Janice Fasano of Dover, DE and Dorothy Ferree of Flemington. She was preceded in death by a sister Lyda Croak and two brothers George Sweeley and Bill Sweeley. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Living Faith Free Methodist Church through the funeral chapel. Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
