Margaret H. (Kreisher) Keener

WEST YORK- Margaret H. (Kreisher) Keener, 94, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services North in York. She was the wife of the late Elmer H. Keener and the late John J. Bartos. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. The Reverend Glenn Detter will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery in York. Mrs. Keener was born in Lewistown on November 15, 1918, the daughter of the late George and Mertie (Johnson) Kreisher. She retired in 1981 from Danskin and also worked as a hairdresser. Mrs. Keener was a former member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and attended York First Church of God. She enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Keener leaves her close friends Deb and Jesse Miller of West York and numerous nieces.
