Margaret E. (Grumbine) Woolridge

YORK- Margaret E. (Grumbine) Woolridge, 93, died on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Cecil E. Woolridge, who died in October of 1950. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on October 29, 1919 in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Clara (Provard) Grumbine and graduated from Waynesboro High School. Margaret was an office worker for Caterpillar Inc. for 29 years until her retirement in 1982. Mrs. Woolridge enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Caterpillar Girls Golf Club. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Woolridge is survived by one son, Barry Woolridge of York; one daughter, Lorraine Smith of Manchester; two grandsons, Mike and Mark; five great grandchildren, Devin, Kevin, Christopher, Kendra and Tiffany; three great great granddaughters, Brooke, Heather and Kelcie; two brothers, John T. Grumbine and his wife, Betsy of Hanover and Ira Grumbine, Jr. of Dover; daughter-in-law, Ruthann Fuller of Wrightsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Rex Woolridge.
