DOVER – Margaret C. (Groupe) Wilt, 88, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2012 at The Brethren Home at Cross Keys Village. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Wilt. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Pastor Danny Haas officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Born October 31, 1923 in Newchester, Adams Co., a daughter of the late John H. and Sarah M. (Cooley) Group, she was a 1942 graduate of East Berlin High School. Mrs. Wilt attended First Assembly of God Church and had previously been a member at Four Square Church where she had helped with Sunday school and church camps over the years. She enjoyed family vacations; sewing; canning fruits and vegetables; and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Wilt is survived by a daughter, Donna Fay and husband Dennis Fulk of Dover; a son, Barry C. and wife Cindy Wilt of Dover; four grandchildren, Kristin Winter, Steven Fulk, Brandon Kimball, and Tyler Wilt; two great grandchildren; four brothers, Clyde Groupe of East Berlin, Leroy Groupe of York, Burnell Groupe of Charleroi, PA, and Nelson Groupe of Spring Grove; and one sister, Floetta Zeigler of East Berlin. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Wyleen Clapper, Pearl Runk, and Reba Howe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys Village, c/o Good Samaritan Fund, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.
