Red Lion—Margaree M. (Sentz) Paules, 98, passed away, Friday, March 20, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services-Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late Curvin F. Paules. A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Robert Jacobs and Rev. Stephany Sechrist, officiating. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, and from 9 to 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Zion United Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. Paules was born May 26, 1910 in Felton, a daughter of the late Orella M. Sentz. She was the oldest member of Bethany Felton United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir for almost 80 years, sang with the ladies octet for several years, taught Sunday school for children and adults for 65 years and served on administrative board and several church committees. As a member of the Felton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in its beginning days, she was involved with their PA Dutch Suppers and other activities. In her younger years she was active with AARP and Golden Agers. She was also the oldest member of the Red Lion Senior Center and a member of Salome Rebekah Lodge 30, IOOF of York. With a passion for traveling, she visited every state at least once and some more than once. Her travels also included Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, the Caribbean, and all of the Canadian provinces. Mrs. Paules is survived by her daughter, Glenda R. Todd and her husband William of Red Lion, three, grandsons, Michael Todd of Jacobus, David Todd of Arlington, VA, and Kevin Todd, attending Temple Univ., in Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Felton United Methodist Church, 41 High Street, Felton, Pa 17322.
