Marga Mummert

YORK – Marga (Klein) Mummert, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Dale H. Mummert.

Born November 9, 1945 in Kaiserslautern, Germany; a daughter of the late Barbara (Strack) Klein, she immigrated to the US at age 18. Mrs. Mummert is retired from the York County Recorder of Deeds office.

Mrs. Mummert is survived by a daughter, Michelle L. Grove and husband Andrew of York; two grandchildren, Cassandra M. Grove and Cody A. Grove; and two great grandchildren, Zane D. Smeltzer and Caitlin M. Gotwalt. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Caitlyn B. Grove; and three brothers, Ervin, Freddie, and Otto Klein.

Tribute services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
