Marcelene Faye (Miller) Snyder

RED LION-Marcelene Faye (Miller) Snyder, 80, passed away unexpectedly May 18, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late William B. Snyder, Jr., to whom she was married to for 50 years. Funeral services will be private at the request of Mrs. Snyder. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Snyder was born February 27, 1930 in East Hopewell Twp, a daughter of the late Howard L. and Carrie E. (Rineholt) Miller. She was a former employee of Kelly's Transit for over 15 years until her retirement. Mrs. Snyder was a life member of St. Paul's (Lebanon) Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. The most important thing to Mrs. Snyder was her family and her husband, they were her whole life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Mrs. Snyder is survived by a son, Dale W. Snyder and wife, Sheilah M.; a daughter, Judith F. Crusey all of Red Lion; five grandchildren, Angie J. Crusey, Rebecca R., Emily R., Katie R. and Holly R. Snyder; two great grandchildren, Breonna R. Snyder and Riley C. Baker; three sister-in-laws; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, C. Robert, Melvin, Clair, Morris, and Glenn Miller; and two sisters, Carlene Daniels and Romaine Miller.
