Mae Potts

POTTSVILLE-Mae Potts, 89, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday morning at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven. Born in Pottsville on March 2, 1923, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Mary A. Delaney Anderson. Mae was a 1941 graduate of Pottsville High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Potts, who passed away February 11, 2001; her son, Gary Anderson; her son-in-law, Ricky Wessner; her brother, William T. Anderson, Jr.; her four sisters, Jean Giles, Laverne Boone, Lillian Lahey and Betty Anderson. Mae is survived by her two sons, Robert W. Potts, husband of Barbara, and David C. Potts, husband of Anita, both of Pottsville; her 8 Grandchildren; her 15 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Reverend Peggy Sue Pfeffer will officiate. Family and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
