Mae A. (Gallagher) Peters

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP- Mae A. (Gallagher) Peters, 89, of York died Monday, January 11, 2010 at York Lutheran Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Bernard H. Peters. A Graveside service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Funeral Cortege will form at 9:45 a.m. at the Pennsylvania Ave. entrance of the cemetery. Reverend Diane G. Wenthe will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Peters was born in York on January 4, 1921, a daughter of the late James Gallagher and Grace (Harman) McGuigan. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York. Mrs. Peters leaves a son Gregory A. Peters and his wife Vicki of Dover; a daughter, Judy M. Perago and her husband Curt of York; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Nye of Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W.
