Madylon L. Bowmaster-Brand

LAMAR - Madylon L. Bowmaster-Brand, 91, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Manor Care North, Williamsport. She was born August 5, 1925 in Cedar Springs a daughter of the late John O. and Beatrice (Lockard) Yearick. She was married on July 18,1944 to Robert R. Bowmaster who predeceased her in death on January 16, 1978. On October 31, 2000 she married James E. Brand who survives. Madylon retired in 1986 from PSU where she worked for 20 years as a private secretary. In her early years she was employed at Sylvania and Kyles Dairy Farm. Madylon graduated high school and completed two years of college. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Bald Eagle Ridge Runners. She is survived by Louise Wyble, Tioga, PA (daughter) and Larry Bowmaster, Lamar, PA (son) along with grandsons, Edward (Sherry) Wyble, and Jason (Kylee,friend) Wyble, both of Tioga, PA; great grandchildren, James (Joshua) Kole, Laurel Md, Jennifer (Billy) Zack, Homer City, PA, Megan Wyble, Ella Wyble and Alixander Wyble, Tioga, PA; Great-Great Grandson, Maverick Zack, Homer City, PA. Also step children, John Wyble, Jeffrey Wyble, Timothy Wyble and Laura Felix and their families. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Mill Hall with Certified Celebrant, Brigitte Morgan officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt.
