DOVER- Madison Cailee “Maddie” Hill, 19, of Dover Township, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court in York. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, both at the church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Maddie was born in York on April 25, 1997, the daughter of Scott A. and Dawn A. (Lee) Hill. She worked as a lifeguard at Green Valley Pool and Sports Complex in York. Maddie attended Church of the Open Door. She was a 2015 graduate of Dover Area High School, where she played varsity soccer for four years, was a member of the Varsity Club, National Honor Society and was the Mini THON Chair, benefiting the Four Diamonds Fund. She attended Penn State York, was a member of the Blue and White Society, THON Committee, where she was the THON Family Relations Co-Chair. She was a participant of York County Relay for Life. She was blessed to be well loved by so many.
