Madeline M. (Spangler) Folckomer

York—Madeline M. (Spangler) Folckomer, 93, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Colonial Manor. She was the wife of the late Howard A. Olewiler and Gurvis Folckomer. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. Terry Robinson of Water’s Edge United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be held in Craley Cemetery. Born February 12, 1924 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late George Spangler and Nellie (Clevish) Paules. She was employed as cigar maker with the House of Windsor. Mrs. Folckomer is survived by two sons, Gary E. Olewiler and wife, Donna of York and Mervin A. Olewiler and wife, Kathryn of Alabama; one step daughter, Nazimova Hake of Red Lion; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Michael Olewiler and Gary Olewiler, Jr., and one step son, Gurvis Folckomer, Jr.
