Mabel A. (Conley) Sheaffer

Dillsburg — Mabel A. (Conley) Sheaffer, 72, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Holy Spirit Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry with the Rev. Jonathan Bowers officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday and from 10:30-11:30 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Emanuel Cemetery. Born May 15, 1942 in Newberrytown, she was a daughter of the late Marlin J. and Anna E. (Hollerbush) Conley. She was a 1960 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. She was employed as a Claims Service Representative with Blue Shield for 30 years until her retirement in 1998. Mrs. Sheaffer is survived by one son, Charles C. Sheaffer of Wormleysburg; two grandchildren, Derek T. and Cassandra L. Sheaffer; three great grandchildren, Aubrey Sheaffer, Makayla Sheaffer and Skylar Sheaffer; six brothers, Ervin L., Wayne P., Gerald E., Vance H., George L. and Randy J. Conley; two sisters, Anna M. Starner and Evelyn Snyder and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Marlin Conley.
