YORK- M. Lee Seitz, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, March 4, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Joyce E. (Spangler) Seitz, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. A visitation will held from 10-11:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Lee's Tribute Service will be webcast on his obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Mr. Seitz was born on November 19, 1932 in Norrisville, MD, a son of the late Harry Vernon Seitz and Margaret (Heaps) Silk and stepson of the late Charles Silk. He was a 1952 graduate of Stewartstown High School, where he excelled in all sports. Lee retired from Consolidated Freightways as Terminal Manager in 1989 after 28 years of service. He had been a member of Red Lion BPO Elks, Victory Club and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. Mr. Seitz was an avid golfer and in 2000 he served as President of York Co. Amateur Golf Assoc. Lee was also proud of his accomplishment of shooting his age or under over 40 times. He also was an avid hunter and loved spending time in the woods with his sons. Mr. Seitz leaves three sons, Scott Seitz of Dallastown, Jon and wife Linda Seitz of York, Jac and wife Deborah Seitz of Wrightsville; three daughters, Jolee Vasquez of Key West FL, Josie Blevins of Felton, and Joni and husband Steve Horne of Wrightsville; ten grandchildren, Lora Jo, Sytiva, Angie, Zachary, Erica, Alexander, Amelia, Andrew, Allyson, and Jason; a great grandson, Calvin; a sister, Janice Fulton of Stewartstown; and a half-brother, Curtis Silk of Wrightsville. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Kenny Seitz. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 45 First Ave. P.O. Box 250, Red Lion, PA 17356.
