Lynn L Romberger

YORK- Lynn L. Romberger, 81, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Millie M. (Herman) Romberger, to whom he was married for 60 years. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Dallastown with Pastor Ben Godfrey and Pastor Duane Bahn officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, both at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born on September 15, 1936 in Elizabethville, he was a son of the late Elwood D. and Grace E. (Umholtz) Romberger. Lynn founded Romberger’s Appliances, Inc. in 1959 and was the President of the company for the past 59 years. Mr. Romberger served our country for three years in the United States Navy. He was a member of Codorus Church of the Brethren, where he sang in the choir, and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Romberger was a member of Gideons International, holding many offices while speaking and traveling all over the state. Lynn was an avid hunter, a licensed projectionist and loved music. He was a proud sponsor of televangelists Ben Haden and Michael Youssef. Along with his wife, Millie, Lynn is survived by his son, Terry Romberger and wife, Carol of York; daughter, Sandra Romberger of Camp Hill; two grandchildren, Jennifer Holcomb and husband, Andrew of Red Lion and Daniel E. Romberger and wife, Elisabeth of Morristown, TN; three great grandchildren, Rebeka Blessing, Colton Holcomb and Dalton Romberger; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Romberger. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, P.O.
